The following are Questions that we are asked on a regular basis.

Keep in mind that these are only OUR truths and what we have chosen to report as fact; we don’t claim to have all the answers and what we offer here are the truths to what we have personally encountered, experienced, and been told by our Spirit Guides. We are not here to persuade your way of thinking, or offend or change anyone's spiritual beliefs. Please always come to your own conclusions, and make your own choices.

How many investigations do you do in a month??

We try to do up to 2 investigations a month, but this also depends on our class or personal schedules. We usually do not do more than that, as I have to clean our house and do laundry just like everyone else (smiles).

I've always been able to see ghosts & spirits. Lately it's becoming more and more frequent. Sometimes it's hard for me to handle. Can you explain to me why I'm so sensitive in this way? Also, I used to see them a lot when I was a child, then it went away. Now I'm older, and I'm hearing & seeing them everywhere! What does it mean? Why me?

From my conversations with other clairvoyants & sensitives, there seems to be a waning period for our abilities, which will come to force again when we feel the time is right (consciously or unconsciously).

ALL people are born with psychic abilities- it is our raised belief system or the value of society, which help us either to nurture or lose these abilities as time goes on. Everyone's psychic abilities are different, and some are stronger than others. Pretty much by the time we are 5-7 years of age, you will find that these psychic abilities will wane or completely drop off. If they are to return, they will not do so until the person is ready to accept them again. Even so, they may not return in the same form as they once were, may not be as strong, or may even be extremely difficult to obtain even if desperately wanted. It can be a frustrating and loooong drawn out process with a lot of personal training involved to try and get these abilities back!

It is anybody's guess why people start to experience a glut of paranormal activity on and off again throughout their lives. It may not even have anything to do with their receiving psychic abilities that were once lost, but just the fact that someone from beyond is trying to communicate with them. Even for those of us who can see and speak with ghosts & spirits, there are a multitude of moments where I purposely ignore their presence (like at work for one), as well as waving off my spirit guides and telling them I'm tired and to leave me alone when I don't wish to be bothered. You do have every right to ignore those on the other side, or if you are new at this, to tell them you are not quite ready for this type of intrusion. They may tell you that you are rude or act disappointed, but that is just the way it is sometimes.
Remember that you cannot please everyone all of the time- and that goes for the living and the dead!

Can I still ghost hunt if I'm sick? "Achoo!"

Bless you. And NO, you should not be out exploring the paranormal with a cold, fever, or any illness where you should be home in bed. When you are physically sick or depressed, reaching out to the paranormal is never a good idea!! Due to your illness, your protective aura that surrounds you is temporarily disabled, and you risk inviting anything that is near you to basically, 'come and get it!'
We've had to cancel investigations and tours before due to an illness. Even though it's disappointing to others when we've done so, nobody takes care of yourself better than YOU. It's not worth it to become sicker, and the ghosts will still be there tomorrow when you feel better. Besides, there are enough ghosts to go around as it is. Why compete to be one of them?

I want to start my own Ghost Group. Any suggestions?

First off, I would join an investigative group in your area for experience. Find out how they run their group. Is it a large or small group? Do they charge membership fees, and if so, how often? What is the group's overall mission statement? How do they practice standards and protocols? How often do they ghost hunt, and where? Are they respectful and fair to their clients & members?

There are pros and cons to both types of groups- managing a group with members, or keeping yourself as a team such as we have done. One of the main cons of being a team is when you are in a large building and there are only 2 of you. This makes it difficult to spread out to, as a larger group would be able to do.
In cases such as this, it is a good idea to recruit another investigative group to help out and expand your investigative perimeters.
One of the cons of being in a larger group, however, is that many private residences and smaller businesses are not comfortable with inviting your whole group over. The pros of being a team, such as ourselves, enable us to help those people who would rather not have 10-20 people traipsing through their home or business. It also enables us to extend a more personal feel to our clientele, and not go through their home or business just to see what we can see. So for us, staying as a team has been beneficial.

Why do pets and young children see ghosts & spirits?

Because nobody has told them that they "don't exist"

You say you don't believe in exorcisms being 100% effective. Well I have a friend who goes into houses and gets rid of ghosts all the time. What do you have to say about that?

Well, I stick to my personal belief that most exorcisms are not 100% effective. Speaking to ghosts and explaining things to them one on one, I believe, is more personal and a more healthy and proper way to try and get them to leave or at least calm down. My issue with some forms of exorcisms is the fact that someone is going in, asking for money, and waving their arms around, lighting sage and white candles, and then saying "poof" hey, I did it, and your ghosties are gone! I'm sorry, but I just don't buy that. Also, I haven't personally SEEN the aftereffects of an Exorcism become 100% successful, and I have to remain skeptical until I see or experience solid PROOF.

Another thing to remember, is that we are dealing with personalities- the personality of the ENTITY. They are retaining the same memories, emotions, and religious background that they had when alive. Nothing has changed! Are you going to be able to exorcise a Buddhist's belief system by a Catholic priest? From what I've seen the answer to this is no. You are dealing with people- and most of them are the most stubborn, controlling and indignant personalities you could ever meet. I mean, they are refusing to go to what people consider a Heaven! It would be easier to move mountains than it is to even try to communicate with many of these stubborn people!

So, if a spirit wants to leave and tells you so, but you do not do believe in exorcisms, how is their release possible?

I don't do anything other than ask one of my Spirit Guides to come in and speak to the entity. Remember, it's always up to the entity whether they want to leave or not. You can tell they are interested as they will follow you around, and many times, emotionally break down. They will admit they are tired, sad, and are finally beginning to believe that there truly is more available for them than the existence they have been 'living.' Once they are ready , It's normally a very quick process. If the entity still decides that they aren't ready or that they don't want to go after all, their power of free will is stronger than our will to release them.

Please do not try releasing spirits on your own and calling in entities to help you, unless you are confident and trained in performing this task! In other words, "Don't try this at home."

I just went on my first ghost investigation, and periodically I'd feel lightheaded, dizzy, or downright nauseated. Then I'd move to another location and feel okay. Is this normal for me to feel this way? What was happening to me ?

Many people have to build up tolerances to things, and ghost hunting is no exception. Not all people will experience these types of physical symptoms, but it is not uncommon when starting ghost investigations to get them. This does not mean you are doing anything wrong, nor does it mean that ghosts or bad spirits are out to get you. It is just your body's reaction to what it feels are strange atmospheric and geomagnetic conditions, and it has to adjust and balance itself. The more you experience sites where ghosts are present, the less uncommon this side effect will be, I promise.

Can spirits make you feel this way?

Normally not- they are not that intrusive. Ghosts and the natural anomalies in geomagnetic earth forces will do this to you. Portals and Vortexes can also give you physical side effects such as vertigo, headaches, and nausea.

Is there anything I can do or take that will make me feel less drained after an investigation?

Drink lots of Orange Juice- before and after your investigation. We have found Orange Juice to replenish physical as well as psychic energy that you may have expelled while ghost hunting. Also, it's a good idea to eat before and after- not doing so in any case can make one feel tired or sick. We also tend to do what we call "powering-down" after an investigation.

Is it true that after an investigation, paranormal activity can increase?

Yes, that can be absolutely true. Remember that many entities haven't been spoken to for a very long time. Can you imagine how exciting it is to finally be noticed and to be given a microphone to speak into after what feels like an eternity? There is much excitement after our visit, so this long ignored entity may feel more comfortable allowing itself to be seen or heard.
Then, there is also the possibility that an investigators or psychic's presence may have spurned angry emotions in an entity, as they understand that your presence might cause them to lose control (which is of course, the ultimate goal here). These entities can choose to "act out" not unlike a child when they feel they aren't getting their way. It's pretty much no more than a tantrum, even though the things they do may be unsettling or appear threatening.

Remember, that's exactly their intent-- to scare you. Usually, just like any emotional outburst, this activity will normally calm down in a few days. And, sometimes, after they figure out that you are no longer afraid and are taking back control of the situation, they will actually find another place to haunt.

Any suggestions following such an investigation where the entity is acting negatively and trying to throw its weight around?

Yeah, tell it that if they don't stop, then you'll have to call us back again. This has been very effective, and seems to take care of the problem.

I want to join your group. Are you accepting membership or can I just come with you on your next investigation?

Todd and I decided to remain as a team when we began PPRS. The reasons for this were varied, but mostly we wanted to bring a more calm & personal feel to our clients, especially since many of our investigations are for private businesses & residences. We've earned the respect of our clients confidentiality too much to impose on it. We do not allow shadowing.

So the answer to this questions is no, but thank you for asking!!

How much do you charge for investigations?

We do not charge for investigations. Investigations and evidence synopsis are free.

Most ghost hunting/investigative groups will never charge you a cent for them to come out and do an investigation, or, for that matter, giving you any evidence they collected. They should be as interested in any results as you are!

However, we do not turn down donations from our clients, especially if they were happy with our work. This is more like giving a "tip" to someone, and discretion should be used by the client on whether or not the "tip" has been warranted.

We do NOT get paid for doing this.

I emailed you a week ago and I haven't heard anything. Could you answer my questions please?

We try our best to answer everyone who emails us- however, we are busy too. Remember, the dead don't pay your rent unless you are a coroner, or a funeral director. This means we work full-time or more (equipment and gas costs alot of money ). So, if you write to one of us and we don't answer, we probably just don't have the time. Sorry.

Also, please understand, that investigations do take precedence before basic questions and haunting location requests. We are here, first and foremost, for people who "Got Ghosts."

I have an annoying Ghost in my house.Will you come and get rid of it?

We never have, and never will claim to be "Ghostbusters". But, have we had instances where ghosts have passed over after our visit? Yes, it's happened quite a few times. As a rule, however, it has to be more of the allottment of control that has been given to the ghost by the residents. If that control stops and the residents become less afraid, and start setting boundaries with their ghost, psychology rules apply. This actually causes more ghosts to finally decide to either pass over or find another place to dwell. When you have relinquished control and live in daily fear of your ghost(s), the only thing we can try to do is calm the situation down, talk to the ghost, and explain things to the resident so there is a better understanding between the two parties. However, if they still live in complete fear, either taking back their control, or moving out, will be the only solution. There are some people who claim to be able to come in and immediately clear out homes of any ghosts. Since ghosts are people with personalities and agendas, I do not know if I subscribe to that. Not that I'm saying it's impossible, but ghosts are not pets that you can take to the Humane Society when they become a menace. It would be nice if that were the case, but I have yet to see instances where a 'ghostbusting' or an 'exorcism' was 100% effective.

Our goal is to try and calm things down; to verify, to investigate, to empower the residents. The rest is up to you!

How do you feel about using Ouija Boards?

We feel that using a Ouija Board is a dangerous game and feel very strongly about this. Every time you play around with a Ouija Board or over forms of divination and you do not know what you are doing, you are opening up a door and inviting whoever is on the other side to join you. How do you know which door you are opening, and WHO are you inviting? YOU DON'T- this is my whole point. When you use this board with the specific goal of contacting and communicated with the Spirits of the Dead, you have immediately lost your "control", and are giving it to them. At that moment, whoever is hanging around- whether it be a ghost, a visitor, or (more commonly) an Elemental (demon), you have now invited them to come through this open door, and not only communicate, but hang out with you! Why do you think there are so many stories about the hazards that can come out of doing this?

So, more importantly, do you carry the knowledge of how to get rid of them if they should decide to stay and get out of hand? How will you put them back through the right door when you don't even know which door it was that you originally opened? We hate these types of calls, and more often than not, there's nothing we can do because you INVITED them! Then YOU have to un-invite them, and this is NOT as easy as it sounds!!

We want nothing to do with this type of divination, or any others. We do just fine speaking with those Spirits whom we need to directly, and them to us. We hope the same goes for you.

Have you ever been frightened on an investigation?

Yes, of course we have. The most harrowing experience we have had so far was at the Portland Apartment complex (that will remain unnamed). During the evening investigation, activity became abnormally high, and we felt extremely unwanted. After Martina mentioned to the group involved that she was told to "GET OUT" more than once by an extremely aggressive male spirit, she reached for a doorknob that would open the door to a second floor, and the door loudly snapped shut before she had a chance to even touch it. This was in full view of everyone present. The internal stairways that we were standing in became extremely ice cold and uncomfortable, and there was a feeling of impending danger. Regardless, someone else opened this door, and we proceeded into the hallway of the floor that they were trying to prevent us from entering (in hindsight, we wouldn't be doing this- we would leave).

All of a sudden, Martina yelped out, and upon inspection, she was developing a large, red and icy handprinted welt on her arm, that was icy cold to the touch. It was obvious that she had been slapped; it was after this physical declaration that Martina vehemently insisted to the group that we stop this investigation, and herded us all out of the building.

During the course of this same evening, we saw candles being blown out in our presence, we heard loud and violent ghostly arguments and spectral motorcyles, doors were opening and closing all by themselves, and we all felt followed and watched. In the basement there was a moment where we were TOTALLY surrounded by them, Todd and Jake got walked through, and let me tell you, none of this to experience is a good feeling.

This whole night was an experience, and yep, we were certainly feeling nervous, uneasy and a little frightened. Not terrified, but they certainly got their point across.

Would we go back there? I think so, but only with our wireless television equipment- so we could listen and watch from the safety of somewhere else!

Do you grieve if someone you know dies?
We are not sure why everyone thinks that just because we go searching for Spirits, that you will see us following an ambulance with our camera in hopes of a bad car wreck. We may feel we have a better understanding of death than many people, but that doesn’t stop us from mourning or grieving for someone that has passed on. Life is hard, and death is even harder- but it is harder for the living to pick up the pieces after someone has died than the person who has gone to the Other Side. Of course we grieve- this is a normal reaction to the loss of any loved one. It’s tough, its hard, and it hurts.

My mother died and I want her to visit me. She must know how much I want to see her. Will she visit me?
We cannot answer this question on the whys and the why nots. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. Keep in mind that many times, Spirits will appear to someone in the family that is somewhat removed emotionally, and then give messages for them to pass onto the rest of the family members. So, why do they do this?
From a psychological standpoint, it makes sense. The family is already dealing hard enough with the shock and realization that their loved one is gone. As much as you may think that you are emotionally ready to see your loved ones in their spiritual state, they fully realize that you cannot truly handle this. They want you to go through the grieving process and heal; you cannot do this properly with time and effort if they were to come to you immediately. It is better for those beloved souls that have passed away to know that you have overcome such an obstacle as grieving, and have grown from the process. For them to come to you and disrupt this process is wrong and they understand why. And, they know you, your limits and your personal belief system.

What a Spirit does or doesn’t do after their passing is determined by them, and not you, your wishes, or a psychic who claims that they can snap their fingers and Uncle George will come and tell you where he buried the family fortune.
Spirits now have all the knowledge of the universe- this means that they certainly know your subconscious emotional state (even if you think you are ready). Also, they visit you quietly when you are unaware of their presence- they do this ALL THE TIME.

Now, as I’m writing this, an episode of the Golden Girls just came on, and Sophia has just gone through the white light and briefly into heaven after she has succumbed to choking. I find this coincidence highly amusing!

Do Spirits sometimes speak to us when we are asleep?

Yes, they certainly do. When our subconscious is relaxed and open, and we are in a dream-state, this is when many a deceased person will send messages to you via a dream. Many times they come in a dream and let you know they are watching you, that they are okay, or they may even bring a warning (Grandpa told me not to marry that guy!)!

Most people who say they have spoken to someone close who has passed over, tell us that it was tbrough a dream, or that they were woken up by the spirit who spoke little or not at all.

THESE ARE NOT GHOSTS!

What is the difference between a Ghost and a Spirit?
A Ghost is an entity that is refusing or unable to go to the Other Side. They stay in a location that feels comforting to them somehow, even if the surroundings and people have changed. They exhibit behavior and personalities as if they were still alive, and do what they were used to doing as if nothing has changed. Many Ghosts do not realize that they have passed on, although they all realize that something is different. This makes them confused and sometimes angry. Ghosts can be possessive of physical and material things, whether these items belong to them or not. Anything that will offer a small comfort to them in their confused state is coveted and sometimes even removed. They also have little or no respect for the personal boundaries of the living, which can cause a great deal of havoc (staring at you in the shower, banging on the wall when you are trying to sleep, stealing your keys, tormenting your pets, exhibiting aggressive behavior, etc.). Ghosts can be Conscious or Unconscious.

A Spirit is what we refer to as the Visitors that travel from the Other Side to ours on a regular basis. They are also attracted to people, places and things, however, they are aware that they are just visiting, and return to the Other Side when their visit is complete. They are conscious and aware that they have passed on, and are enjoying their freedom without the heaviness of a physical body.
They love to play and have fun with the living, and can be very mischievous at times (wouldn’t you?). However, they will never do anything to hurt you or cause you to be fearful; they have an innate understanding and respect for our personal lives and limitations.

What is a RESIDUAL Haunting?

A Residual Haunting is technically not being caused by Ghosts. It is one of those time/space/continuum type of things, where the sounds and visuals of a historical moment are being transported into this time period. You can tell a Residual haunting, as the "ghosts" do not acknowledge anyone's presence but their own. This includes Civil War Battle Sites, and places that hold extremely high-energy.

Just like a photograph, a RESIDUAL haunting, saved in time and space by highly-charged emotional distress, will playback itself time and time again. This is what alot of your "ghost voices" that are recorded are. You are actually picking up voices from the experiences and circumstances of distressing events. These types of events leave behind a "footprint" in time. In turn, they can then become Residuals.

It is interesting to note, however, that where Residuals are present, so are a Ghost or two.

These two energy fields apparently have alot in common, and seem to affect, compliment, and sustain one another.

How can you tell the difference between a male or female Ghost?
Female ghosts tend to feel sadder and emotionally distraught. There is certainly much more empathy that is associated with a female spirit, and their reason for not moving on may be based on severe emotional distress. However, female ghosts can also turn this distress into a positive reaction, and appoint themselves the sole (or soul?) caretaker of a building, library, child, or family situation. They are very rarely aggressive.

Male ghosts tend to be much more aggressive and let you know immediately if they are displeased. They are sometimes irritable and/or possessive. They direct a lot of this aggression toward the living, and this energy seems to enable them to have a talent for more destructive behavior. They may break, move or steal things, or do things that they know will annoy or frighten you.

Remember, that Ghosts do not have power over you unless you give it to them. You have the body- they are only left with a shell of their former selves.

What are Orbs?
An Orb or Globule is a term used by paranormal investigators to identify the spirit of energy caught on film. Since all human beings possess an energy force, when the physical body has been removed, this force is still the living part of your being; your spirit - your soul.

Photos abound on the web of Orbs and Globules; study these photos closely. Uninformed or wan-a-be investigators will easily mistake lens, sun spots, dust or rain, and claim them to be proof of paranormal activity. In some pictures you may catch Orbs with a nucleus in them- this is the heart of the Orb. They may have a certain color to them, they may have circles within circles, but a true Orb is a definite different construction other than dust, pollen, or water spots. Some Orbs even have faces in them, and appear to be grinning or smiling. Spirits are naturally curious, just as we are when we are living. They know what you are doing when you are trying to photograph them; some may be camera shy, and some are just downright camera hogs! Depending on the Spirit of the person you are photographing, you will either have the same Orb following you around throughout the evening, or just the tail end of one traveling by you, seen in the corner of your photo.
The theory is, than an Orb is a traveling spirit- and they are not as easy to catch on film as you may think. Orbs can move at an amazing speed, which is why we sometimes refer to some of them as “Speeders”. Believe me, you’ll know if they want their picture taken, as they will move slower, and show up on your film.

Both Spirits and Ghosts can appear as Orbs.

What is Ecto or Ectoplasm?
Ecto is when a Spirit has stopped traveling, and is standing still; it is in this instance that the energy of the Spirit retains a density that resembles white smoke or fog.

Both Spirits and Ghosts can appear as Ecto.

What is EVP?

EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenon. These are the sounds of entities that are picked up on our cassette and video recorders, that were inaudible at the time of the recording. EVP also refers to sounds of residual hauntings- bed springs creaking in a now empty wartime hospital room, unseen piano music, etcetera. EVP's are the most positive piece of evidence that an investigator can get.

When you see and hear Ghosts/Spirits, is it exactly like we are talking face-to-face?

Everybody's abilities are different, so different people have different experiences. Todd, for example, can hear them speak on an audible level, whereas Martina hears them mostly telepathically. When Martina sees a ghost, more often than not, she sees that on a different level than our physical one- it is more of an impression that the spirits/ghosts are communicating to her of their "former selves." Sometimes, they will also communicate to her with visions and storylines that may show why they are still lingering behind, as well as what led them to their deaths (If they know they are dead). This also depends of course, on the spirit itself and how it feels, if at all, like communicating. Many times they don't talk at all, but she can see and describe them, but they won't answer us.

Are Cemeteries full of Ghosts? Is this why there are so many pictures of Cemetery Orbs?
If you were going to wander the earth and never move on to the Other Side, why would you want to haunt a Cemetery? I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, (it does) but what a morbid place to forevermore be earthbound!

But think about this; you are passed on, and are now just a ball of eternal energy flitting through the universe. You decide to visit this dimension, and know of a quiet place where other Spirits may come together where you can all talk about your experiences and share energy with each other (I’m not exactly sure yet why they do this, but we have pictures where Orbs are doing just that). Plus, when you are done visiting, you know you have to get back to your own dimension and go through the Portal to get there. What better place to get your ride than in a Cemetery?
Our belief is that doorways or Portals open up in Cemeteries for a particular reason – they do not interfere with the realm of the living. That is why at certain times without any tangible reason, a Cemetery may be particularly busy or HOT. If you are getting an intense amount of paranormal activity in a Cemetery, there may just be a Portal opening up nearby. You won’t know it, but the Spirits certainly do.

Do Ghosts & Spirits have a concept of TIME?

Ghosts, no. They will understand that something is DIFFERENT era-wise, but that is about it. They don't know what time it is, day it is, what year it is. Spirits, well, they don't really have any concept of time either, but then again, nor do they especially care! However, both of these entities can tell by watching us and our celebrations of particular holidays what month it is, whose birthday it is, etc. There are many instances where the deceased will come and visit the living during the month of what their birthday or death was, a wedding anniversary, or when a child of theirs was born. This is very common. Sometimes they hit the right day to appear, but most times we hear they are a week or two early or a week or two late.

Ghosts still are under the impression that time stood still; things are different, but they are still in the same time-period when they died.

What is an Apparition?
An Apparition is the physical form of a person who is no longer living that appears either to the naked eye or on film. Either Ghosts or Spirits can appear as an Apparition to the living, however, when an Apparition shows up on film and was not seen when the picture was taken, my belief is that this is a Ghost. Visiting Spirits do not usually feel the need to announce their presence by allowing you to photograph them the way they once were, and they are not obsessed with how they used to look in their physical body. A Ghost only remembers what it wants to see, and it appears in the period dress and physical body that it still thinks it inhabits.

What is a Vortex?
Definitions of Vortexes vary; some use the word to describe the tunnel where Spirits can pass through to our dimension. Others refer to this as a Portal. However, a Vortex is always the same on film- it is normally a tube-shaped anomaly.

We believe this is the manifest they use to travel from the spectral realm to our earthbound, material realm. It is also probably the opening that would enable an earthbound Ghost to pass through- the white light, the TUNNEL.This is why Ghosts will sometimes say to us that they have seen the light, but have refused to go into it. Apparently, we all have a choice- even in death.

What is a Portal?
When people have had NDE’s or Near Death Experiences, there is always the same similarity- they see a white light and a tunnel. Something opens up and they travel through it to get to their final, or in their case, not so final destination.

A Portal is a doorway to another dimension, and luckily for us, dimensions have been scientifically accepted (well, I think by Einstein, but that’s good enough for me!)

I like to think of the Portal as being the Spectral Taxi that picks up and drops off spirits; whether it is a Spirit visiting our plane, or someone who has just passed on- the Portals are there. Portals can open anywhere, but are more common in Cemeteries where it is quiet, and where entities and spirits can come and go without disturbing the living.

If you notice I said entities- there is no guarantee here that Portals are only used by "the dead." We are not sure if entities of other dimensions, or even alien intelligences, are capable of using Portals. As far-fetched as this seems, we really cannot rule out what sounds impossible since we truly don't know.

During some of our EVP's I have noticed that we are recording what sounds like a "knock knock" sound before we receive extremely clear voices from unknown entities. I call this the "Portal Knock". I believe that this double "knock-knock" is what is captured when someone is speaking to us while coming through the portal, or when talking to us while still on the other side in their spectral realm.

I am beginning to think that the "Portal Knock" is caused by the entry of a different entity than the Portal Crashes described below. I think the "Portal Crashes" are your visitors who are coming in to visit you, specifically, your friends or relatives who have passed. I think the Portal Knocks are what we are picking up on our recorders when we are dealing only with ghosts.

There is sometimes a "Gatekeeper" that watches the activities around the Portals, but not always. I've mostly seen him wandering about in Cemeteries where Portals open and close more frequently. He does not take kindly to ghost hunters getting in the way of his work; he may come and tell you to leave. You'll know him when you see him, believe me. If he doesn't feel like appearing to you, he will just make you feel suddently nauseated or lightheaded- as if you've been psychically attacked. Many sensitives have seen and experienced him. Now, before everyone starts freakin' out, I've never seen the Gatekeeper manning a Portal in someone's home. Nor will he hurt you, although he can make you uncomfortable enough physically where you have to leave. But, I'll talk more about him at another time.

I believe that Portals do not open at the same place or time but that they shift and change. This makes sense, as the doorway to dimensions would have to change time and place for them to be efficient and to not interfere with the living. Portals open and close quickly; in cemeteries, only the Spirits involved know the location of their pick up and drop off points. I would presume that with all the Spirits that abound, there are probably Portals opening and closing constantly.

Portals actually make an audible noise similar to a crashing sound when they open or close. This crashing sound has been heard by many people- it may sound like it is coming from another room in your house, or right behind you. In fact, we had a crashing sound come from the corner of our bedroom as recently as 2 nights ago- we thought the cats had knocked something over and immediately turned on the lights. All of this was done (at 3:00 in the morning!) only to find out there was nothing broken, nor was there any physical evidence of anything fallen. The stranger thing is it woke both of us up, but the cats where all stretched out on their appropriate sleeping places, and didn't seem to be bothered by what we had heard.

The only thing I could think of then, was that we had had a visitor walk through the bedroom, who had left through the doorway. Could this have been one of our relatives to wish us well, since we had recently gotten back from our Las Vegas wedding??

Many people who are sensitive or have psychic abilities hear the portal crash many times throughout their lives. I would say that the other night's crashing makes it over a dozen, times I've heard it now...but this is the first time we've ever heard it in this house.

So far, nobody has been able to capture a photo of an actual Portal.

OR HAVE WE?

Were we fortunate enough to capture a photo of a Portal opening at a Cemetery? Why were the Orbs there by the hundreds before those strange and unsettling photos were taken, and then not an Orb to be seen after the anomaly had vanished? And why were we so drained after leaving this Cemetery- was my car parked right in the middle of the Vortex/Tunnel that led to the Portal doorway? Where is all this light coming from in an area of the Cemetery where there are no lights?

It is unsettling as well as frightening because it is something we have yet to understand. Nothing we’ve ever seen, felt, or photographed compared to what we got that night, and we’ve experienced quite a bit. What is it like when you die?

Ummmm....how should we know? We're not DEAD YET!!

But, according to the spirits we've asked- they say that everything just feels LIGHTER, and that COLORS really really really stand out. Buildings and inanimate objects can appear somewhat see-through, and are easy to manipulate and walk through.

Some spirits have also noted that the sounds of the living are different, and tend to echo as if we are very far away. However, they seem to be able to hear us more frequently and easily than we can hear them- that is when they are not telepathically communicating, which they do more than speaking aloud.
