What’s a Halloween season without a good haunting? You can wait for a ghost to come to you or you can be proactive and search for spirits.

There are plenty of guided tours offering otherworldly experiences for those who want to go on a spooky ghostly adventure around Cincinnati.

Flying Pig Tours offers Buried Secrets, a two-hour walking tour that takes you through the dark and mysterious past of one of Cincinnati’s most haunted neighborhoods: Over-the-Rhine. “From murderous rage to snatching bodies for medical dissection,” the journey could lead you to a Class A haunting. Tickets are $29, find more info and book at hauntedcincytours.com.

If you want to fully immerse yourself in the paranormal world, check out the Flying Pig Tours schedule for ghost hunting events.

American Legacy Tours is running three spooky adventures with tickets still available for the upcoming Halloween season.

The Ultimate Queen City is Haunted Tour also offers adventures across OTR, visiting some of Cincinnati’s most historic and perhaps ghost-filled locations. They say the tour ends with a visit to the Emery Theater. This tour is only offered in October, so check it out while you can.

On the Newport is Haunted Tour, guides will regale you with tales of “murder, suicide, and even beheading.” You also get a haunted history lesson about the history of Northern Kentucky nightclub, Bobby Mackey’s, and learn about some of Newport’s “most infamous unsolved crimes.”

Learn a thing or two and be spooked on the Haunted and Historic Covington Tour. Hear about the “controversies, squabbles and tempers” that haunt the area where, in the 1860s, “wealthy slave families who helped fund the rebellion lived on the doorstep of ardent abolitionists and Union financiers.”

Tickets for all three start at $29. Find more information and book tickets at americanlegacytours.com.

Bobby Mackey’s – also known as “America’s Most Haunted Nightclub” – offers its own two-hour guided ghost tours, where visitors can come face-to-face with the paranormal. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ghost hunting equipment, such as EMF meters and cameras. There are also five-hour private investigations for those who take their paranormal investigations seriously. Tickets are $35. Get more information and book a visit at gatekeeperparanormal.com.
